This tutorial teaches you to make DIY ruffled flowers using crepe papers.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
- Crepe paper rolls
- Needle
- Thread
- Scissors
PROCEDURE:
STEP 1: Pick up crepe paper roll of your choice and the desired thickness.
In case you do not get those rolls, you can even cut them out from the sheets.
STEP 2: Choose the colors of your choice and in case you want to make a double colored flower, spread along the two layers placing them one above the other.
STEP 3: Thread the needle and make a knot to it at one end. Start making ruffles at small gaps in the papers carefully.
STEP 4: Now pull the thread carefully from one side by gathering the paper at the other side.
STEP 5: Pull the thread more closer very carefully and roll it to end up with this beautiful flower!!6
Use these flowers in your vases or to decorate your pen stands by adding on leaves.
Using this ruffling technique, you can extend your creativity for decoration at parties to make wall hangings,display items and back drops!
